Our main focus at African Realtors Limited is on real estate development, estate agency and with our affiliates, facilities management. The Company only deals with direct instructions from its clients for the sale or purchase of properties on their behalf, and in partnership with its affiliates, the renovation and management of such properties.

At African Realtors before we purchase properties for our Clients, our Solicitors conduct exhaustive searches on the title of such properties and will only give the company the go ahead to deal if they are satisfied as to its genuiness and the quality of title

As most properties in Nigeria are unregistered, and it requires a lot of experience in investigating title. Investigation are conducted at both the Land Registry, the Surveys Department and locally and we only buy and sell after we are satisfied that title is sound.

A number of Nigerians have been swindled over the year especially at the Lekki and Ikorodu Axis of Lagos by some so called Landlords “Omo Onile” who claim that they have Family Land to sell and end up selling land that had long been acquired by the Government. Buyers are warned to confirm at the new Towns Development Authority and the Surveys Department of the Lagos State Government before buying Land in both Lekki and Ikorodu especially. Lawyers should also scrutinise documents and investigate at the land registry where there is a certificate of occupancy is produced.
